Home Church

As our "Stay at Home" order is slowly being lifted we are looking forward to physically meeting together to worship again at Aina Haina School.  Although the State and City are lifting restrictions, we have heard from the School stating that Hawaii Public School facilities are NOT available for public use - until further notice--possibly until August.

Our church leadership believes that this constraint actually gives us another opportunity to worship in a different but good format.  Because of this, we would love to ask if you would prayerfully consider opening your homes and hosting "HOME CHURCH" every Sunday at 9:30am.  We will still continue to have our regular online service, but wanted to offer a place to congregate, fellowship and pray that all of us have been patiently waiting for.  We understand that because of health restrictions or fear some may opt out of participating but we wanted to open it up to meeting because, let's face it, it's time to gather.

Commitment:

You will "HOST"  the people who come to your house.  Watch the online service together, facilitate the conversation of follow up questions with your group, and allow everyone to pray for one another.   It's up to you if you would like to offer refreshments or have a light potluck after.  We would like to ask that you consistently commit to keeping your homes open every Sunday at 9:30 for church to whoever might or might not come.  Because of the limit of congregating of 10 persons, a host home will most likely be able to accommodate no more than 2-3 families.  Hence, it will be great to have many host homes.

What you'll need:

 - Steady, reliable Internet service

 - TV or large monitor

 - Audio system or speaker loud enough for the group to hear.

We plan on doing this through the months of June and July.
